Commonwealth Bank (CBA) will today host a webinar for accountants and bookkeepers based in New South Wales to ensure they are aware of the latest banking and government support available for businesses.

Accountants are trusted advisors for their clients and the Bank recognises the important role they currently play in helping businesses to navigate extended lockdowns, to manage expenses and cash flow, and to access support measures.

The webinar is specifically for the accounting sector – bringing together a team of experts from our Business Bank as well as the NSW Government to provide the latest details on the support measures available to businesses and how to access this support.

CBA’s team will be joined by representatives from Treasury NSW and Service NSW who will be on hand to answer any questions about government support options. CBA’s Chief Economist, Stephen Halmarick, will also present on the impact of the lockdown on the NSW economy and the short term outlook.

The webinar will be held on Tuesday 31 August, 2-3pm.

Any accountant or bookkeeper interested in attending can register via this link.
